Camaleones! buena karma!
Star ECO Station a crecido de nuevo en su población de animales al rescatar 75 camaleones que recientemente han sido confiscados por el Servicio de Fish and Wildlife de los Estdos Unidos. Es un nuevo día en la vida del ECO Station, al seguir rescatando animales silvestres que ninguna otra organización lo haría, manteniendo la idea de que la dedicación el esfuerzo y el amor a cada vida es muy valiosa. El ECO Station estará rescatando más y el grupo original ya a dado vida a nuevos camaleones bebes. Los camaleones son de dos diferentes especies: los Jacksons, que son los machos que tienen tres cuernos en ls cara, ylos Helmeted, (los encascados) que tienen algo parecido a un casco en su cabeza. Los trabajadores del ECO Station los mantendrán en cuarentena por ahora por razones de salud y seguridad y empañandolos regularmente con agua estas criaturas de unas dos a tres pulgadas de largo para asi mantener sus panzitas llenas con una dieta de grillos.
Muy pronto STAR ECO integrará estos camaleones en su programa de enriquecimientos (enrichments), de manera que mantengase informados de estas clases y recuerden que es muy importante que estas nuevas adiciones van causando un nuevo impacto en la escena educativa.
Es un Hecho: los camaleones cambian de colores según sus emociones y su medio ambiente!

The STAR ECO Station saw its animal population grow once again when it rescued 75 chameleons that had recently been confiscated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This is just another day in the life for the ECO Station, as it continues to rescue wildlife that no one else will, holding to the ideal that every life is worthy of dedication, effort and love. The ECO Station will be rescuing more soon, and the original group has already grown with the birth of several chameleon babies! The chameleons are made up of two different species: Jacksons, the males of which have three horns on their faces; and Helmeted, who have a small veil on their head that looks something like (surprise!) a helmet. The ECO staff will keep them quarantined for now for safety’s sake, misting the two- and three-inch long creatures with water on a regular basis, and keeping their little tummies full with a steady diet of crickets. As soon as possible, STAR ECO will start integrating the chameleons into its enrichment programs, so keep your eyes out for them, and remember to look closely – these newest additions have a way of blending into the scenery!
