Do You Need an After School Program For Your Child?

Sierra Linda is interested in using STAR Education to provide after school Galaxy programs for all students in 1^st through 6^th grade beginning _____________ 2010.

This After School Program would be an alternative if a student was not able to be registered in the current after school program at Sierra Linda.

STAR Education selects professional and experienced instructors to teach specialized classes and constantly develops new, unusual, innovative educational programs to expand and develop each child’s imagination and creativity.

The following would include some features of the program:

• Children would attend Monday-Friday, 2:45 p.m. -6:00 p.m.
• Low fee, based on a sliding scale.
• Located at Sierra Linda.
• Math and Literacy group tutoring.
• Enrichment classes (theater, art, science, chess and more).
• Study skills-driven homework club.
• Fitness and sports program aligned to state standards.
• Healthy snack.
• Staff to student ratio is 1 adult to 14 children.
• All staff will have thorough background checks, certification in first aid and CPR, and experience working with young children.
